Chocolate Peach Tart


A rich and indulgent dessert combining the flavors of chocolate and peaches, perfect for any occasion.

1. Preheat the oven to 175°C and grease the cake tin. 

 2. In a food processor, combine  flour, butter, sugar and salt. Mix until  mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

 3. Press the mixture evenly into the greased cake tin until a crust forms. Let cook for 10 minutes. 

 4. While the base is cooking, melt the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl set over a pot of simmering water.Mix until smooth and allow to cool slightly. 

 5. In another bowl, mix eggs and milk well. 

 6. Gradually pour the egg-milk mixture into the slightly cooled melted chocolate, stirring constantly.

 7. Arrange the peach slices on  the finished cake. 

 8. Pour the chocolate mixture over the peaches so that they are completely covered. 

9.Bake for another 20-25 minutes or until the filling is set. 

 10. Remove from  oven and allow to cool completely before serving. 

 11. Optional: Dust with powdered sugar for a special touch.

 12. Cut and enjoy! 

 

 – 1 cup all-purpose flour 

 – Cut into cubes 1/2 cup of cold and unsalted butter.

- 1/4 cup granulated sugar

- 1/4 teaspoon salt

- 1 cup dark chocolate, chopped

- 2 large eggs

- 1/2 cup milk

- 2 ripe peaches, sliced

- Optional: powdered sugar for dusting
